Kentuckians are willing spirits. Report finds beliefs strong, Church attendance high. Camille Weber of the Lexington Herald stated in the report that " Kentuckians appeared more religious than Americans as a whole in most categories.
The survey covered belief in God, importance of religion in my life, how often i attend, how often I pray, etc.
This was very pleasing to me to hear this but alarmed me about the nation as a whole. The article also stated that other states such as West Virginia, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, and Arkansas scored higher as well than America as a whole.
Does this tell our nation anything? Yes it does, it tells us that the rural areas still left are holding on to God and not allowing the world to take their beliefs away. It should not matter if we live in the city or in the middle of nowhere, if our beliefs are strong, then we should stay with them and not allow the world to drown them out.
My prayer today is that we will all get back to our grass roots and seek God. Seek a life that will give you more joy and peace than you have ever had. God needs you. He has placed gifts inside of you that He has no one else. Use that gift for God and be blessed.
I continue to pray for everyone this Forth of July Weekend where many deaths normally take place. I pray for safety and joy this weekend.

<dc:subject>July 2008 Words</dc:subject>

HANNAH'S PLACE: O DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR STING? by Beverly

THIS PAST WEEK HAS BEEN EXTREMELY DIFFICULT WITH THE PASSING OF A DEAR MOTHER & DAUGHTER OF OUR CHURCH BODY AS A RESULT OF A AUTO ACCIDENT. Since I am off work today, I wanted him to share in saying it with me. To my surprise he agreed and knew the prayer. His mother home schools him and she does an incredible job. She just does not teach him the subjects he is required but she teaches him bible and he loves to memorize bible verses.
I work a lot and do not get to reap the rewards from his outstanding teachings.
I use to be concerned about him being home schooled but we prayed about it as a family and God lead us in that direction. He has more interaction with children than I ever imagined. My wife takes extra care to make sure he is developing his social interaction skills and experiencing the world in a way that God would want us to.
Nothing wrong with our children going to public school but I like knowing that I am in control of what my child sees and is involved in and who he hangs out with.
So I want to thank my wife for her hard work and dedication in teaching and developing our child into the man he will soon one day be, you truly have the toughest job I could ever work at.
We had the chance last night to go out with our wonderful neighbors and their children to see the local city fireworks. As we scrambled for a parking place, we went up to the top of a hill and found an incredible, grassy area surrounded by trees without many people there. As I sat there God began to speak to my spirit telling me to look around and look at the scenery that He had made for me and everyone else. I sat there and just soaked up the environment and felt so much peace. As the fireworks began I thought about the last several years and the incidents that this country has had to go through, the world trade center, the tornadoes, the floods, hurricanes, etc. I also thought again about our troops around the world and was so proud to be an American. My heart throbbed for those that have lost life and the families that have been left to deal with the loss. At that time God spoke to my spirit and told me He is there to comfort everyone that is suffering, depressed, burdened by life's struggles and disappointments. He can give us so much peace and joy if we just seek Him.
I pray today for our armed forces around the world, I pray for those that have lost love ones, I pray for those that have lost so much due to floods, hurricanes, and tornadoes. I pray blessings upon each of you and you are loved.

<dc:subject>July 2008 Words</dc:subject>

July 03 2008 Word

With tomorrow being the forth of July, I always like to think about the men and women of this great country that have shed blood to defend it and keep it free. I am so thankful for those that go everyday to put their lives on the line for our freedom. It upsets me to see those that protest war and make comments about this wonderful nation we live in. I am sure those that protest war and this nation probably need to be put on the front lines to see what our armed forces are keeping from coming to this nation. War is something that has happened since the beginning and will never go away. We live in the most free country in the world and this is all due to the foundation that this country was founded and our wonderful men and women in the armed forces.
Our country was founded on the belief of God and freedom. Those that do not believe in either have started causing issues for this country and if we are not careful we could end up without the freedom we have always had.
God has blessed this nation because of the faithful and those that still believe "in God we trust" however those that have no belief and do not care about the freedom of this country are coming against it in a mighty way.
We must keep our foundation and stand firm upon it.
I am so thankful to live in a country where I am able to live free and worship God in freedom.
Thank you men and women of the armed forces for putting your necks on the line for us everyday. I pray blessings and safety upon your lives in the name of Jesus Christ.

<dc:subject>July 2008 Words</dc:subject>

Incredible Video - Phil Wickham - "True Love" live - in studio

<dc:subject>Christian music</dc:subject>

July 02 2008 Word

Does using curse words affect us? This is a question that I have been asked before and up until now have not addressed it. I use to be terrible about using curse words and speaking them so frequently that they began to be just regular words. Well the truth of the matter is nobody wants to hear them and they are not good to say.
Using these words cause issues. It makes the hair stand up on my neck to be out with my family and hear someone next to us telling a story and just because they are telling a story they have to use four letter words for emphasis. You can talk without using these words. They are rude and influence others to use them. I am raising my child to not have to hear them and it can all be ruined by someone having no respect for the people around them and just speaking them.
In the bible it states that the words we speak are life and death. I know others that have said "that just makes me sick" you know what happened to them, they became sick. We have power in our mouth. The words we speak can being us abundant life or a life of sorrow and death. The devil knows if he can get us to speak these foul words and be comfortable saying them all the time, then we won't care to do other things as well and he can blind side us.
I pray that we will all watch our words and be courteous to others when out in public and around others. I know if I can stop cursing and not use them, that anyone can.

<dc:subject>July 2008 Words</dc:subject>

New look of www.brucesizemore.com

We are in the process of making www.brucesizemore.com more user friendly. It seems like the years just fly by. As I posted yesterday concerning the book I am reading "23 minutes in hell" I cannot emphasize enough how great and how revealing this book is. It has truly been a life changing book.
Bill in the book explains how terrible hell really is and that it is a real place. We simply think that because we cannot see God, Heaven, or hell, that they do not exist. If you read close in the bible that is why the word faith is shown so much. God wants those that seek after the truth and believe in Him. God is all around us and the world has polluted our minds to make us think if we don't see it, then we should not believe it. Hell was created for the devil and his demons not God's children. However because of disbelief, they are going as well.
I like Bill in the book have an urgency to tell everyone to be ready. We must live every day as if it was the last. Please take a moment and evaluate your life. We are all going to die, it is just when your number is pulled. I am not telling you this to scare you, I am telling you this to prepare you. We all are going to die and when we die we have made a choice here on earth of where we will go when we leave this world. It is either Heaven or Hell. The choice is up to you. Living for God is not some fanatic way of life. It is life and you love people and live life full of peace and joy. You thank God daily and give praise and thank Jesus for going to the cross for you.
Without Jesus there is no hope and no future in Heaven. Please evaluate your life and make a choice of where you want to go.
I pray that all of you choose Heaven, hell is going to be a place where you are tormented every minute and you will want to die and can't. God can take away all of this and give you a life you have been looking for and fill those voids in your life that you have been searching for.

<dc:subject>July 2008 Words</dc:subject>

He is in the storm by Helen

I took this picture in my back yard
6-2-2008 I was in my yard with my camera around my neck when I looked in front of me I saw a storm heading toward me I then began to think about how he was in the storms so I said Lord if you are still in the storms reveal yourself in this storm so I took 3 pictures did not see anything till I put it on my computer when the picture came in focus I saw a picture of Jesus it was a figure of a mans head which to me looks like the image that we see on earth of JESUS.

<dc:subject>Things to Ponder</dc:subject>

A good lesson by Wilma

A young man, a student in one of our universities, was one day taking a walk with a professor, who was commonly called the students' friend, from his kindness to those who waited on his instructions. As they went along, they saw lying in the path a pair of old shoes, which they supposed to belong to a poor man who was employed in a field close by, and who had nearly finished his day's work.
The student turned to the professor, saying: "Let us play the man a trick: we will hide his shoes, and conceal ourselves behind those bushes, and wait to see his perplexity when he cannot find them."
"My young friend," answered the professor, "we should never amuse ourselves at the expense of the poor. But you are rich, and may give yourself a much greater pleasure by means of the poor man. Put a coin into each shoe, and then we will hide ourselves and watch how the discovery affects him."
The student did so, and they both placed themselves behind the bushes close by. The poor man soon finished his work, and came across the field to the path where he had left his coat and shoes. While putting on his coat he slipped his foot into one of his shoes; but feeling something hard, he stooped down to feel what it was, and found the coin. Astonishment and wonder were seen upon his countenance. He gazed upon the coin, turned it round, and looked at it again and again. He then looked around him on all sides, but no person was to be seen. He now put the money into his pocket, and proceeded to put on the other shoe; but his surprise was doubled on finding the other coin. His feelings overcame him; he fell upon his knees, looked up to heaven and uttered aloud a fervent thanksgiving, in which he spoke of his wife, sick and helpless, and his children without bread, whom the timely bounty, from some unknown hand, would save from perishing.
The student stood there deeply affected, and his eyes filled with tears. "Now," said the professor, "are you not much better pleased than if you had played your intended trick?"
The youth replied, "You have taught me a lesson which I will never forget. However if I find a book that sparks my interests, I will not put it down. Well I have found another book that I cannot put down. Bill Wiese has published a book called 23 minuted in hell. This book ran chills over my spin. His graphic detail of hell is incredible. I am a skeptic when it comes to these type of things but he had scripture to back up everything he was telling us in this book. I was able to get half way through the book and did not want to put it down but became too sleepy. I hope to finish it tonight.
If you have ever had questions about life after death, this book will show you the bad part of dying. Hell is a place that you are tormented for eternity, Bill explained that he wanted to die and could not. The beasts in his cell tormented and tortured his body and he could not do anything about it.
Please take time and visit his site and pick this book up. It has changed my whole view on hell and I did not ever want to go there but now i am afraid for those that do not know Jesus and having to go there.
Please take time to evaluate your spiritual life today and make a decision to follow Jesus and stay away from hell.
http://www.soulchoiceministries.org/product.html
<dc:subject>June 2008 Words</dc:subject>

Update

Etta went to be with the Lord last night after 8:00PM.
HOMOSEXUALITY?

I have again this weekend had many comments concerning our discussion on Homosexuality and I want to give more detail as to what the bible says about this lifestyle. I want to address every topic that we deal with in this present world and offer a Biblical outlook on each of them. This is not to offend but to teach and give truth.
We realize that this subject can be a very difficult one to address. Furthermore, as hate crimes specifically committed against homosexuals occur, many feel that this issue shouldn't be addressed at all for fear of only adding to the hostile environment that many homosexuals face. Despite the cultural climate in which we live, this issue must be addressed according to the Word of God. God's laws are always for our good, although man may see them as restricting. In the end, only obedience to the Word of God can bring true freedom. We address this issue out of God's love for the homosexual to bless and help him.

Much of our society has embraced many perverted sexual practices that are considered in the Bible as abominations to God. Homosexuality is among the list of deviate or abnormal sexual practices however, there are many other practices that can be included as well. Pornography, pedophilia, prostitution, bestiality, oral sex, phone sex and computer virtual reality sex, just to name a few of them.

1 Corinthians 6:9-10 (NIV): "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters, nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God."

Although the Bible doesn't detail each and every one of these sinful acts, it does clearly speak out about many of them. Any deviation from God's original plan for sex between a married man and woman is still a sin in God's eyes. The main reason we call these things perverted is because they are unnatural and scripture clearly tells us those who do such things are committing abominations. Leviticus 18:22 (KJV): "Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind it is abomination."

Homosexuality is also referred to as the sin of sodomy. This reference comes from an account in the Bible of two exceedingly wicked cities, Sodom and Gomorrah, which the Lord destroyed. Sodom was known for its rampant homosexuality and unrestrained sexual lust, as well as other sins such as arrogance, haughtiness, and disregard for the poor. When the Lord sent angels to warn Lot who lived in the city that it was about to be destroyed, the men of the city actually wanted to rape the angels! Genesis 13:13: "But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly."

In the Old Testament the penalty for this sin was severe. Leviticus 20:13: "If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them." Today the penalty of death comes in the form of AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases. It also brings death to the soul and spirit of man because the life of God is pushed out by indulging in something that is an abomination to God. God wants to deliver all who are trapped in this unholy practice and He will if anyone calls out to Him with a sincere heart.

Smokers are opening themselves up for lung cancer; however, the people who are subjected to breathing the smoke second-hand are also subject to this disease. The person who willfully smokes is guilty of destroying their own bodies, but should those who are forced to live in the environment of the smoke, get lung cancer, they are not guilty of this sin. When we teach that smoking causes lung cancer, we are not judging or condemning those who innocently get lung cancer from breathing second-hand smoke. It is simply a true fact that smoking can cause lung cancer.

There is no condemnation or judgment against those who innocently contract this disease through no fault of their own (for instance, through blood transfusions.) However, since AIDS is most prevalent in the homosexual community, we need to warn people of the dangers of homosexuality, so that AIDS and sexually transmitted diseases are not spread to the rest of society, as now, many heterosexuals have contracted these diseases too, through unfaithful partners.

Romans 1:24-32:

24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves:
25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshiped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31 Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

These scriptures clearly state that these vile affections of men lusting for other men (gay men) or women lusting for other women (lesbians) are not the natural affections God created men and women to have for one another. Let me say here that God loves all homosexuals! However, He hates the deeds of homosexuality because they are sinful. God did not create any human being as a homosexual. They are not born that way, just as murderers are not born that way. However, these spirits can be transmitted to children, especially if someone who had this demonic spirit seduced or raped a child--or even if they were close to gay people. These demons can also be imparted to others through unholy sexual acts.

People become homosexuals because they yield to abnormal acts or lust. It is through some source that they have received a demonic spirit that drives them to their lust. Viewing evil videos or pornographic books is a way of opening the door for Satan to give one an evil, perverse spirit. Though people are not born as homosexuals, the Bible does say all human beings are born with a sin nature. If we yield to the evils of our flesh it will lead to our destruction not only in this life, but in the life to come. However, through faith in Jesus Christ and His death on the cross we can break the hold that sin has upon us. We do not have to yield to the old fleshy nature but we can now overcome evil temptations and live our lives controlled by the Holy Spirit.

Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

Sex is God's idea and its purpose is not only for procreation, but also for recreation and the development of a deep relationship between man and woman. Nothing is wrong or dirty about sex when it is engaged in the bonds of marriage as the Lord commanded in the Bible. However, when perversions are committed inside the marriage relationship, this can be sinful also. God made man and woman and brought them together "face to face." Oral sex is of homosexual origin that replaces the normal "face to face" relationship God intended in a marriage. The Bible describes the sex act in Song of Solomon Chapter 4. In this chapter it speaks of this "face to face" relationship by describing looking into his lover's eyes and kissing his lover's lips and fondling his lover's breasts. Oral sex is not normal or natural as it is an unclean act.

No one has to live in bondage with an abnormal life of homosexuality nor any other abnormal behavior. No one has to be controlled by pornography. No one has to have evil thoughts plague their minds. There is a way out through what Jesus has done for us. He loves sinners and wants to free us from any evil practices. He will empower those who cry out for deliverance to get free and stay free. Here are the steps you must take to get free:

(1.) Make a total commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ. Be willing to turn your life completely over to the will of God and yield to His plan for your life. This means you must be willing to do anything, go anywhere and give up any thing as He leads. Remember, God will never lead you to do anything that is not in agreement with the Bible. You can trust God. He created you and has a better plan for your life.

(2.) Your must pray and read your Bible daily. You must study and apply the Word of God to overcome Satan's attacks. The way that you resist the attacks of the devil is by quoting the Word of God to him. When the devil came to tempt Jesus, He simply quoted the Word to him. Good praise tapes will also be of a great help when you are tempted. Put one on and start singing along with it.

(3.) You must pray for and seek out a strong Bible believing group of Holy Spirit filled people. You will need their help and fellowship. As you humble yourself and seek help, the Lord will deliver you. Ask God to lead you to someone that can pray the prayer of deliverance for you, as you probably will need to be set free from a demon. You should also seek to be filled with the Holy Spirit as you will need His power to get free and to remain free.

(4.) You must cut off all sources and relationships that would lead you back into sin. The Bible tells us to flee fornication (sexual sins). You must get out of any corrupt entanglements, or areas that you know will be a temptation to you. If you have been hooked on internet pornography subscribe to an Internet Service Provider that will filter out the pornography for you. Destroy all evil books and videos.

(5.) Should you slip or fall back occasionally, repent and get right back up and go on with God. Do not allow the devil to condemn you once you have repented. Put your sin under the blood of Jesus. He will strengthen you and you will win this battle because of the Lord's promise to you. Remember, He loves you and is there to help you. Run to Him when you get in trouble, never run from Him. He will not ever give up on you! We too, will be standing with you for your total healing and deliverance. Philippians 1:6: "Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ."

(6.) You must forgive everyone that has ever hurt you. You can only do this through the power of God. You must by a simple act of your will voice the forgiveness and then the Lord will give you the feeling of forgiveness. This may be a while in coming but just keep forgiving when you think of any wrong that has been done to you. The Lord will give you His love for those people who have wronged you.

Age, or lack thereof, is no hindrance to marriage under Islam, according to Ahmad Al-Mu'bi, an officiant for marriages from Saudi Arabia who says sex at 9 is fine.

According to a video of the Saudi official recorded and translated by MEMRI, the Middle East Media Research Institute, Al-Mu'bi has confirmed that marriage contracts are appropriate for girls as young as age 1.

And he said the model for marriage continues to be Muhammad, who married one of his wives when she was but 6.

The video comes from a broadcast on LBC Television on June 19, according to the MEMRI report.

Al-Mu'bi said, "Marriage is actually two things: First we are talking about the marriage contract itself. This is one thing, while consummating the marriage – having sex with the wife for the first time – is another thing.

"There is no minimal age for entering marriage. You can have a marriage contract even with a 1-year-old girl, not to mention a girl of 9, 7, or 8. This is merely a contract [indicating] consent. The guardian in such a case must be the father, because the father's opinion is obligatory. Thus, the girl becomes a wife," he said.

"But is the girl ready for sex or not? What is the appropriate age for having sex for the first time? This varies according to environment and traditions. In Yemen, girls are married off at 9, 10, 11, 8, or 13, while in other countries, they are married off at 16. Some countries have legislated laws forbidding having sex before the girl is 18," he said.

He confirmed, "The Prophet Muhammad is the model we follow. He took 'Aisha to be his wife when she was 6, but he had sex with her only when she was 9."

An interviewer asked: "My question to you is whether the marriage of a 12-year-old boy to an 11-year-old girl is a logical marriage permitted by Islamic law."

"If the guardian is the father... There are two different types of guardianship. If the guardian is the father, and he marries his daughter off to a man of appropriate standing, the marriage is obviously valid," said Al-Mu'bi.

"People find themselves in all kinds of circumstances. Take, for example, a man who has two, three, or four daughters. He does not have any wives, but he needs to go on a trip. Isn't it better to marry his daughter to a man who will protect and sustain her, and when she reaches the proper age, he will have sex with her? Who says all men are ferocious wolves?" Al-Mu'bi said.

MEMRI also recently reported that Hamas Minister of Culture Atallah Abu Al-Subh made a statement on Al-Aqsa Television that U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, who has worked diligently to help establish a Palestinian state, should be condemned as a murderer.

"Every proud Palestinian views you as a murderer, and sees the blood of the children of Palestine between your lips and on your fangs. I pray to Allah that you will soon slither away," Al-Subh in a statement aired by Al-Aqsa.

A year ago, WND reported an online forum tied to the website of Hamas posted a photo of a little girl in a combat vest and the head band of the terrorist Al-Qassam Brigades.

The message accompanying the photo said the girl "is part of the Muslim generation which will go down in history [as a generation] … that refused to [accept] humiliation and defeat."

Hamas, which won a majority in parliament in January 2006 elections, officially is considered a terrorist organization by the U.S. government. As WND reported, a prominent Hamas leader recently was captured on video boasting of using children, women and the elderly as human shields in its firefights with Israeli soldiers.

<dc:subject>Things to Ponder</dc:subject>

June 27 2008 Word

Do you have road rage? Does driving bring out the worse in you? I remember early in my driving experience that I had a terrible case of road rage. I would honk the horn and throw a hand up at anything that I did not think was correct. People would aggravate me so bad when I was driving. I would yell and talk to them through the glass.
This was something I prayed about a lot. Over time I found that driving and dealing with other drivers was getting better. I now do not yell or honk the horn (unless someone runs me off the road) and I am able to keep the road rage under control. I have seen stories and photos of people having fights right on the highway and even be shot at. This is very troubling and we need to evaluate our anger.
Jesus says, "Come to me all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. I wanted to clarify why I posted this and why I have asked that we contact Heinz.
First of all I do not hate those that practice homosexuality, they are God's creation just like me. I have had friends who practiced this lifestyle. However I do hate the lifestyle because it makes a mockery of what God intended to be sacred between a man and a woman. This lifestyle is being sexually immoral and is an abomination before God.
I have been married for over eight years now and have a six year old son. I do not want my child to see these type of things on television and think that the lifestyle is ok because it is not. I have had others comment to me and ask me why am i judging them, I am not judging I am going to the word of God and making sure that what I am telling you and everyone else is the truth. If it was meant for men and men to be partners, our plumbing would be laid out different. God made woman in the image that would be appealing to a man. God loves those that practice this lifestyle as much as he loves me and everyone else. I have seen signs that other Christians have had that states "God hates homosexuals", this is so untrue. God loves them, He hates the lifestyle. We have to understand that our sins is what separates us from God not the person. God loves the person but hates the sin.
This is not to condemn but to give us hope, that if we live according to God's Word that we can inherit eternity.
I pray that those that are reading this will understand that God loves all of us and wants to have a relationship with each one of us. I want this site to be a place that we can all communicate on without being upset and can share what is in our hearts.
Leviticus 20:13: "If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them."

<dc:subject>June 2008 Words</dc:subject>

June 25 2008 Word - Miracle

I usually always have a word for the day and today I did not get even a hint of a topic and just a few moments ago I received this email about a miracle healing and that to me says it all. Great question and I apologize for not explaining it. Brucesizemore.com is a ministry that has one goal in mind and that is to tell the lost about Jesus and for those that do know Jesus provide resources to help them along their journey. We have a limited budget at the point to do everything we are wanting to do but God is so good to provide.
To answer the question about the goals we have in place for usage of donations is this:
1. we want to grow this ministry with other websites
2. we want to provide online tools for all readers -
3. get this ministry to all countries across the world
4. we want to eventually have a hotline number to call for help
5. we want to provide online TV on the site
6. we want to help every church we can to start an internet ministry
7. use technology as much as possible to spread the "good news" as quick as possible
As everyone knows this takes money to do it. We are patient and in prayer about this ministry and know that it will grow by God's timing.
I want to make sure that as others have questions that we cover these very topics. If the enemy causes you to stumble how we react is one of your most important decisions. I know that when some stumble and sin, they don't get backup. When we stumble and sin we must ask for forgiveness and get back up. The enemy loves to use guilt as a way to take you away from your walk with God and make you feel like you cannot walk with God any longer. This is such a lie. Jesus went to the cross and died for all of our sins, not just a couple of them. He knows every sin and struggle we will ever have. Our flesh is born into sin, that is why in the bible it states that we are to walk by the spirit and not by the flesh. The flesh will do whatever it has to, to satisfy itself.
Please do not be discouraged when you stumble, use it as a life lesson and ask for forgiveness and get back up and get back on the walk with God.
The enemy knows each and every struggle we have issues with and will use them against us to get us to fall.
My prayer is that we will handle these situations with care and when you start recognizing that the enemy is in the midst of these issues, then you can avoid them.
That is why the Lord's Prayer is so important and we should pray it daily.
Never let the sun go down on you before you ask God for forgiveness and thank Him for His grace and mercy.
<dc:subject>June 2008 Words</dc:subject>

Best Poem Ever - by Wilma

If God brings me to it, He will see me through it

I was shocked, confused, bewildered
As I entered Heaven's door,
Not by the beauty of it all,
Nor the lights or its decor.
But it was the folks in Heaven
Who made me sputter and gasp--
The thieves, the liars, the sinners,
The alcoholics and the trash.
There stood the kid from seventh grade
Who swiped my lunch money twice.
Next to him was my old neighbor
Who never said anything nice.
Jack, who I always thought
Was rotting away in hell,
Was sitting pretty on cloud nine,
Looking incredibly well.
I nudged Jesus, 'What's the deal?
I would love to hear Your take.
How'd all these sinners get up here?
God must've made a mistake.
'And why's everyone so quiet,
So somber - give me a clue.'
'Hush, child,' He said, 'they're all in shock.
No one thought they'd be seeing you.'

When you look in the mirror what do your see? Do you look at yourself as being worthless, good for nothing? Do you look at yourself and smile because you see yourself in a different way?
These are all questions we will all ask ourselves one day. We can only avoid a mirror for so long and we have to look at ourselves and see what is before us.
Some of us have even gotten to the point that we lie to ourselves. I know that we must be honest with ourselves and not convince ourselves otherwise. You can make a lie come true about yourself, if you believe it long enough, it will come true. Our words we speak are so precious and so dangerous. If you have a bad self image and go around speaking things like "i look terrible, i can't do that, i am not worth anything, no one will have me" these things will come to pass. Our words speak life and they speak death. Our words should be "i am worth so much, i am wonderful, i can do anything, i will find that special someone in my life". If those things are spoken, you will start to see a change in your personality, you will start feeling better about yourself and these things will come to pass.
We are all created in the image of the almighty God. How can we sit and think we are worthless. God loves us so much that we are His favorite creation. In all the wonderful animals and the billions of wonderful living creatures, we are His favorite. You cannot tell me that you have no worth. We need to stop listening to the enemy and listen to God. We are heirs in the kingdom of God and we need to praise God for that.
Start talking positive and feeling good about yourselves, fix yourselves up and live life full of joy and peace.

<dc:subject>June 2008 Words</dc:subject>

Where would you be if ?

<dc:subject>Things to Ponder</dc:subject>

June 22 2008 Word

I have seen so many things in my life here on earth. I have been all over the east coast and midwest. I have met so many different types of people, different beliefs, different ethnic backgrounds. It amazes me how different God made each of us but with the same purpose. Now i like many have had my wild times, have partied and laid drunk all weekend, I have been to strip clubs, partied in clubs, done it all. I never like going back into my past because that is not the person I am now. However people that don't know God and have questions can relate to my past, it shows them I am a real person and not a pretend "holy roller". Living for Jesus is my life, I no longer look for the things of this world. I have had near death experiences being drunk in a car, running around with people at early hours in the morning and ending up in the wrong place, close to being shot. At that time it was wild and exciting but as we get older, it could have cost me my life. I am so glad that God did not give up on me. My life at this very moment is more peaceful and full of joy than it ever had been. I know this is the place I am to be.
The sad part about it is, is that we all run the race and make mistakes before we come to this conclusion. Living for God is not an act, it is not some thing we do to make us look holy and above everyone. I am more humble right now than i ever have been. This is simply the grace of God upon my life. I have given Him my everything and He has given me rest.
I don't care what wrong doings you are doing right now in your life. God wants you right now where you are, right in the midst of the sins. We all have sinned, not one person is excluded from this.
I know that God had His angels watching over me in my life to keep me alive due to my stupid mistakes. I am so glad He loves all of us today and I pray that you will thank Him for protecting you even if you don't recognize Him.
I want to hear how God has helped you. In the ways hast thou sat for them, as the Arabian in the wilderness; and thou hast polluted the land with thy whoredoms and with thy wickedness. 3 Therefore the showers have been withholden, and there hath been no latter rain; and thou hadst a whore's forehead, thou refusedst to be ashamed. 4 Wilt thou not from this time cry unto me, My father, thou art the guide of my youth? 5 Will he reserve his anger for ever? will he keep it to the end? Behold, thou hast spoken and done evil things as thou couldest. 6 The LORD said also unto me in the days of Josiah the king, Hast thou seen that which backsliding Israel hath done? she is gone up upon every high mountain and under every green tree, and there hath played the harlot. 7 And I said after she had done all these things, Turn thou unto me. But she returned not. And her treacherous sister Judah saw it. 8 And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also. 9 And it came to pass through the lightness of her whoredom, that she defiled the land, and committed adultery with stones and with stocks. 10 And yet for all this her treacherous sister Judah hath not turned unto me with her whole heart, but feignedly, saith the LORD. 11 And the LORD said unto me, The backsliding Israel hath justified herself more than treacherous Judah. 12 Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the LORD; and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you: for I am merciful, saith the LORD, and I will not keep anger for ever. 13 Only acknowledge thine iniquity, that thou hast transgressed against the LORD thy God, and hast scattered thy ways to the strangers under every green tree, and ye have not obeyed my voice, saith the LORD. 14 Turn, O backsliding children, saith the LORD; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion: 15 And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding. 16 And it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, saith the LORD, they shall say no more, The ark of the covenant of the LORD: neither shall it come to mind: neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it; neither shall that be done any more. 17 At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the LORD; and all the nations shall be gathered unto it, to the name of the LORD, to Jerusalem: neither shall they walk any more after the imagination of their evil heart. 18 In those days the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given for an inheritance unto your fathers. 19 But I said, How shall I put thee among the children, and give thee a pleasant land, a goodly heritage of the hosts of nations? and I said, Thou shalt call me, My father; and shalt not turn away from me. 20 Surely as a wife treacherously departeth from her husband, so have ye dealt treacherously with me, O house of Israel, saith the LORD. 21 A voice was heard upon the high places, weeping and supplications of the children of Israel: for they have perverted their way, and they have forgotten the LORD their God. 22 Return, ye backsliding children, and I will heal your backslidings. Behold, we come unto thee; for thou art the LORD our God. 23 Truly in vain is salvation hoped for from the hills, and from the multitude of mountains: truly in the LORD our God is the salvation of Israel. 24 For shame hath devoured the labour of our fathers from our youth; their flocks and their herds, their sons and their daughters. 25 We lie down in our shame, and our confusion covereth us: for we have sinned against the LORD our God, we and our fathers, from our youth even unto this day, and have not obeyed the voice of the LORD our God.
1 If thou wilt return, O Israel, saith the LORD, return unto me: and if thou wilt put away thine abominations out of my sight, then shalt thou not remove. 2 And thou shalt swear, The LORD liveth, in truth, in judgment, and in righteousness; and the nations shall bless themselves in him, and in him shall they glory. 3 For thus saith the LORD to the men of Judah and Jerusalem, Break up your fallow ground, and sow not among thorns. 4 Circumcise yourselves to the LORD, and take away the foreskins of your heart, ye men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem: lest my fury come forth like fire, and burn that none can quench it, because of the evil of your doings. 5 Declare ye in Judah, and publish in Jerusalem; and say, Blow ye the trumpet in the land: cry, gather together, and say, Assemble yourselves, and let us go into the defenced cities.
Please Read the above scripture:
As I was reading this chapter of Jeremiah, God spoke to my spirit and told me that this applies to the United States today as well. We have turned our backs on God and God is a jealous God. He is showing us mercy right now even in our wicked ways. He is asking us to turn from these iniquities and return to Him. However if we do not return to Him there is nothing left but destruction. He will be gracious enough to wait on us and help us but there will come a time when He will stop being ignored and turned away by us. I do not want to see the wrath of God upon anyone but there will be a day that He will show it. He loves His creation and wants a relationship with all of us, however those that are mocking Him and stating that He does not exist, I know this has to hurt Him. He made us, takes care of us and we ignore Him and state He does not exist, this is heart breaking.
Please examine your life today and see where you stand with God today. Do you walk with God or are you ignoring Him and stating He does not exist? It is time we get real and know that He is God and that we were created by Him and that we should love each other and praise God.

<dc:subject>June 2008 Words</dc:subject>

THANK YOU

I want to thank everyone who is assisting me with the site and placing your entries on the site.
A GROUP OF GRADUATES, WELL ESTABLISHED IN THEIR CAREERS, WERE TALKING AT A REUNION AND DECIDED TO GO VISIT THEIR OLD UNIVERSITY PROFESSOR, NOW RETIRED. DURING THEIR VISIT, THE CONVERSATION TURNED TO COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE STRESS IN THEIR WORK AND LIVES. OFFERING THEIR GUESTS HOT CHOCOLATE, THE PROFESSOR WENT INTO THE KITCHEN AND RETURNED WITH A LARGE POT OF HOT CHOCOLATE AND AN ASSORTMENT OF CUPS: PORCELAIN, GLASS, CRYSTAL, SOME PLAIN LOOKING, SOME EXPENSIVE, SOME EXQUISITE: TELLING THEM TO HELP THEMSELVES TO THE HOT CHOCOLATE.

WHEN THEY ALL HAD A CUP OF HOT CHOCOLATE IN HAND, THE PROFESSOR SAID: "NOTICE THAT ALL THE NICE LOOKING, EXPENSIVE CUPS WERE TAKEN, LEAVING BEHIND THE PLAIN AND CHEAP ONES. WHILE IT IS NORMAL FOR YOU TO WANT ONLY THE BEST FOR YOURSELVES, THAT IS THE SOURCE OF YOUR PROBLEMS AND STRESS. THE CUP THAT YOU'RE DRINKING FROM ADDS NOTHING TO THE QUALITY OF THE HOT CHOCOLATE. IN MOST CASES, IT IS JUST MORE EXPENSIVE AND IN SOME CASES EVEN HIDES THE DRINK. WHAT ALL OF YOU REALLY WANTED WAS HOT CHOCOLATE, NOT THE CUP; BUT YOU CONSCIOUSLY WENT FOR THE BEST CUPS...THEN YOU BEGAN Eying EACH OTHER'S CUPS.

NOW CONSIDER THIS: LIFE IS THE HOT CHOCOLATE; YOUR JOB, MONEY AND POSITION IN SOCIETY ARE THE CUPS. THEY ARE JUST TOOLS TO HOLD AND CONTAIN LIFE. THE CUP You HAVE DOES NOT DEFINE, NOR CHANGE THE QUALITY OF LIFE YOU HAVE. SOMETIMES, BY CONCENTRATING ONLY ON THE CUP, WE FAIL TO ENJOY THE HOT CHOCOLATE GOD HAS PROVIDED US.

GOD MAKES THE HOT CHOCOLATE, MAN CHOOSES THE CUPS. THE HAPPIEST PEOPLE DON'T HAVE THE BEST OF EVERYTHING. THEY JUST MAKE THE BEST OF EVERYTHING THEY HAVE.

Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
This scripture needs to be tattooed upon our hearts. We are so quick to judge and to condemn but not quick to love. Jesus simply says here, if you judge, you will be judged, if you condemn, you will be condemned and (my favorite one), forgive and you will be forgiven.
Even if you do not believe in what someone is doing, do not judge them or condemn them. We are to show love to each other. Love will cast off the things of this world and of the enemy and reveal the truth without condemnation. Romans 8 tells us that "therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus" this comforts my soul and if Jesus set us free, who are we to condemn each other?
We need to learn love and kindness to one another in a Godly way not of this world. The world will show love as long as it benefits it but once the cooker gets hot, you are on your own. Just like the song Eric Clapton sings "nobody knows you when your are down and out" the song is so true, when you are on top of the world, everyone wants to know you but as soon as you have a struggle and you get kicked off the top of the world, no one wants to be with you. I am so glad today that God's love is not like that of the world. God loves us all the time and unconditionally. We need to learn this principle and love people in a way that would shake this world.
Everybody is looking for something, lets show them a love that never changes.

<dc:subject>June 2008 Words</dc:subject>

Which are you? by Janice Helton

This is such a hard thing to deal with when the ones you love leave this earth. We all have dealt with death, if you haven't you will one day. It causes an empty feeling that is very hard for some to ever recover from. The bible tells us that Lazarus died and they went to go get Jesus. Jesus knew what was going on, He knew that they needed to see this miracle of raising Lazarus from the dead. However I never can get to the center of the verse "Jesus Wept" this blows my mind. The son of God had so much compassion and love for Lazarus and those that were around that He wept with them. I believe He does the same thing with us. When we are going through struggles and heartache and are in our personal space away from everyone else and we cry and pour our hearts out over the situation that has us upset, I believe Jesus is right there with us weeping with us. He has His arms wrapped around us comforting us.
Jesus loves us so much. He loved us so much that He was willing to die for us all. Not one of us is exempt from this action of love and sacrifice. No one can honestly say that they are not loved. Jesus loves you unconditionally and our Father in Heaven loves us so much He sent His Son to this earth to die for us.
If you are facing a love one that has went on, be comforted that God loves them and you have an opportunity to tell others about Jesus and to be ready for the day that we will be removed from the is world.
I pray that our heart, soul, and minds are ready to see Jesus. Just as I posted the photo yesterday with the two doors, when it comes right down to it, that decision is all that matters. Where do you want to go when you die? Only you can answer that question. I pray that everyone that reads this will have their hearts ready for Heaven.
<dc:subject>June 2008 Words</dc:subject>

Door Number 1 or Door Number 2 ?

<dc:subject>Things to Ponder</dc:subject>

June 18 2008 Word

I know at times we get right in the dirt here on brucesizemore.com and hit some topics that most will not even hit the high points but they are real issues and since we are real people talking to real people, i pray that it is ok that we do cover sensitive topics and get real with ourselves.
While sitting at my desk this morning I asked God what are issues that people are dealing with that they simply do not know is wrecking their lives. Sexual sins was the first thing that came to my mind. It seems like that sex has become just an event and see you later. Our generation has taken something that God intended to be so sacred and turned it into just a thing. I see on myspace and other social networking sites how easy it is for people to "hook up" in a very short amount of time. This really troubles me because God did not intend for this to happen. Television, radio and the internet promote sex all the time. As I have heard so many times "sex sells" and it sure does. The flesh is so seeking of its own lusts and desires that we feel like we have to fulfill those very desires. What we are doing is trying to fill a void that only God can fill.
Sex will simply become something that will go from a one night stand to exploring other options to hardcore options, etc. The flesh is seeking such a desire and it never gets fed. Only God can fill our void in our lives and give us the life worth that we are looking for in things like sex, drugs, gambling, etc.
This is a real issue and we need to address it. I know when the issues are addressed and they become exposed that God can work and give us wisdom.
My prayer today is that we will look at sex as a gift from God between a woman and a man that have commited their lives together with God in Marriage. Sex is not something you go looking for on a Friday night. This is a gift from the Mighty God and should not be made into filth and sin.
Please seek and search the bible and ask God to give you a revelation about this very thing. He can set you free from the addiction of sex and any other addiction.
Father today I pray for those that are dealing with the addictions of sex and allowing the flesh to fill the void in their lives. I pray for those that do know You and have fallen into pornography and hardcore sexual desires. I pray for the mind to be clean and the body clean before Your very presence. I pray for this world as it commits these sins and degrades the very gift you have given a woman and a man in marriage. Father forgive us of our wrong doings and watch over us. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
<dc:subject>June 2008 Words</dc:subject>

Time is short by Janice Helton

This is something we ALL need to thank about, If you knew that Jesus was coming back on Friday, what would you do? Are you ready? Are your children ready, your grandchildren and great grandchildren, Your mom and dad, your sisters and brothers, your uncles and aunts? WHAT WOULD YOU DO OR SAY TO THEM? Can you picture yourself saying goodbye to them, telling them that they can't go with you, hearing them say " Mommy, take me with you, Daddy, don't leave me alone. This thought came to my mind today and it is scary as hell. Jesus could come any time, tomorrow or next week. Jesus is our big brother, you must know how hard it will be for Him to look at some of us and say, sorry, you can't come.
We have to get our family ready NOW. There is no time to waste because it is closer than we know. I don't want to leave my children behind. I don't want to leave any of my loved ones behind. We must pray for the laborers of the field to move more quickly. We must move faster, not slower. Please pray for my family and I will be praying for all of yours. I love you all so very much. Pray, Pray and keep on Praying.
<dc:subject>Your Daily Word</dc:subject>

Does God Exist?

This is one of the best explanations of why God allows pain and suffering that I have seen...
A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed. As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation. They talked about so many things and various subjects. When they eventually touched on the subject of God, the barber said: 'I don't believe that God exists.' 'Why do you say that?' asked the customer. 'Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God doesn't exist. Tell me, if God exists, why would there be so many sick people? Would there be abandoned children? If God existed, there would be neither suffering nor pain. I can't imagine a loving God who would allow all of these things.' The customer thought for a moment, but didn't respond because he didn't want to start an argument. The barber finished his job and the customer left the shop. Just after he left the barbershop, he saw a man in the street with long, stringy, dirty hair and an untrimmed beard. He looked dirty and unkempt. The customer turned back and entered the barber shop again and he said to the barber: 'You know what? Barbers do not exist.' 'How can you say that?' asked the surprised barber. 'I am here, and I am a barber. And I just worked on you!' 'No!' the customer exclaimed. 'Barbers don't exist because if they did, there would be no people with dirty long hair and untrimmed beards, like that man outside.' 'Ah, but barbers DO exist! That's what happens when people do not come to me.' 'Exactly!' affirmed the customer. 'That's the point! God, too, DOES exist! I know with our past mistakes that they can come back to bite us later on in life without warning. It can cause us to stress, become ill, get upset. We know now the mistakes we have made in the past were not good judgments but we all do them. However how we respond to the situation is where we either get peace or we go off the deep end. We must know that if we feel anxiety about a situation that it is from the enemy. God will not put more on us than we can handle.
If we face obstacles and situations with a clear mind and with a peace that God will be there with us, we will live a life full of faith, peace and joy.
The enemy is using stress and anxiety as a strong hold on people's lives right now severely. People are being ill from the stress, losing their jobs, losing their marriage and it is heart breaking. We need to seek God with all of our hearts and let Him work our situations out. This battle is the Lord's and He will be victorious. We must have faith in God to take care of us.
If you feel as though you need to talk to someone about it, then find a real brother or sister that will pray with you and help you in the trial. Always seek the throne of God when you have a trial. I heard Joyce Meyer say Put down the phone and get to the throne. This is so true, God is the one true person that can work our situations out. We often seek another human being thinking they can work it out. God can create a miracle in a second to take control of your situation, man does not have that power.
Seek God and live in peace and joy.
Father today I pray for those that have burdens and struggles in their lives. I pray that they will seek You and find rest in the midst of their storms. God comfort them and take care of them as You do. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done. ~ Philippians 4:6, NLT
I know we have hit this topic a lot lately but it cannot be emphasized enough how important this one principle is. The enemy is using worry and stress to try and kill all of us. We should never worry, be anxious, stress. God will supply our very needs. Pray and ask and it will be given unto you. Always thank God for everything He has done and everything He is about to do. As I mentioned in yesterday's word, God is our Father and He listens to us and wants to help us in any way, we just have to ask and pray. Always thank Him for what He has done.
We have a powerful and mighty God that wants a relationship with us. He wants you to talk to Him and appreciate Him. He has created us in His own image. When God created Adam, He would leave all t he majestic angels that were praising Him and all His heavenly environment to come down in the cool of the evening to walk and talk with Adam. He loves His creation and seeks a relationship with us. Once you experience the true love of God, you will never be the same. His love will set you free from everything. You will love people you have hated your whole life, you will drop addictions you never thought you could, you will have peace and joy you never thought you could have. God can set us free of the burdens of this world. People are walking around right now with an emptiness thinking their lives are over, contemplating suicide. If they would get on their knees and call out to God, God would take them into His arms and comfort them and show them what they have been seeking for. We must tell people about this love that sets us free. God is so wonderful and we need to thank Him.
Father I thank You for everything You are doing in our lives today. I thank You for Your protection and love. I pray for those today Father that are hurting and thinking about suicide or just giving up. I pray that You will place Your mighty hand upon them and take the pain away. Let them know that life is worth living and that life can be full of peace and joy. Father we come against the enemy today and pray that we take back those that the enemy has taken from the kingdom of God by lies and deceit. Father we love You and thank You this day in the name of Jesus, Amen.

<dc:subject>June 2008 Words</dc:subject>

June 15 2008 Word

Today is a very special day. Today is Father's Day. I thank God for my earthly father, but I want to focus on our Heavenly Father. Today is a day we should honor our Heavenly Father for everything He has done for us and for being who He is. Without our Father in Heaven, we would not be here, He created us. He knows everything about us, He knows the very count of hairs in our heads, He knows the deep dark secrets we have, He knows the struggles we have, He knows our joys, He knows everything about us. He will supply our every need. We should never worry when we know that we love the Father. We should never be concerned when we love the Father.
A father loves his child and although that child gets scolded for wrong doings occasionally, he still loves that child unconditionally. Our Father in Heaven is just like that, He loves us unconditionally and although we may get scolded at times, He will never leave us or forsake us. If we listen to the Father's Word, we cannot fail.
I want to thank You father for everyone that reads this blog and I pray for blessings upon their lives, I pray for release of spiritual warfare upon their lives, give them peace and joy unspeakable. We praise You for Your Son Jesus. Father on this Father's Day we pray that we are pleasing to You in Your sight. We pray that we are bringing You glory and honor with our lives. We want to live for You and one day be with You forever in Heaven.
For the ones that do not know You , I pray that You will reveal Yourself to them and let them know that You are God. You are so worthy of our praise. I thanks You Father and give You this Father's Day because You deserve it.
Thank You Father.
<dc:subject>June 2008 Words</dc:subject>

June 14 2008 Word

As I sat down this morning to a plate of pancakes and sausage, God reminded me of the people in this world that do not have anything to eat, that do not have a roof over their head, no clean drinking water, no medical assistance.
Living in America, we have an abundant life in most cases. God has blessed this nation and we take it for granted.
If you do have a roof over you head, some food on the table, you are wealthier than most in the world.
We will sit and complain that we do not have the new jeep four door in maroon (my latest want) and their are people having to dodge bullets every morning that they get up. There are many that may eat once a month and think that is such a blessing.
My heart and prayers go out to those that are struggling. We need to do whatever we can to help those that are struggling and help them.
We also need to pray for and help those in Iowa and surrounding areas as they deal with flooding. I know the impact of this is devastating. They are going to have to start over in most cases and we will simply put this out of our minds and think, oh the red cross will help them. These are our brothers and sisters that are struggling and we need to help them.
I am going to place a link on my site for you to help the victims of the floods financially and i will provide weekly reports of the giving posted here on the website. It is our duty to help one another.
Father we pray today for the flood victims and those that are struggling across the world. We pray that Your hand would comfort those that are struggling and in need today. Father we know You can do all things and we believe Your Word. Forgive us for our sins and be with us. In Jesus Name, Amen.
<dc:subject>June 2008 Words</dc:subject>

June 13 2008 Word

Through this ministry we have now reached well over fifteen thousand people over the web and I thank God that He has given us the knowledge to reach those that need Jesus and to strengthen those that do know Him.
However when you go out into the world you are going to reach those that do not believe, have had bad experiences, simply do not want to hear about it. This troubles my soul and I pray that before the end of time that they would simply talk to God and ask Him to show them that He is real.
It literally hurts my heart to think that because of disbeli
