I am so amazed at how high prices have become. I would have never imagined how high fuel is right now. I really do not know how those on fixed incomes are making it. Everyone is having financial struggle except maybe the fuel companies. I just have a yearning to give a word of comfort to everyone that is having to deal with this financial burden. I know that the high prices will drive crime up and people will have to start making huge cutbacks. I have friends that cannot get to church on Sundays because they have to conserve their fuel.
This breaks my heart that we cannot get a grip on the fuel situation. I know if fuel came back down the price of everyday items will come down with it.
We are the consumer so why don't we have more control? I have prayed about this and I pray for all of you because I want us all to have a little extra money in our pockets. Use to the highest expense to go on a vacation was hotel and now fuel is right up there with it.
I heard a report last night on the evening news that fuel prices to heat homes was going to rise 40% this year. Now that will be a whole different can of worms, I had natural gas in our past home and even 4 years ago it cost me 400 a month to heat my home. I pray ahead of time that people will not freeze and become ill because they cannot handle the price to heat their homes. Please plan ahead for this and save what you can.
God tells us in the bible to not worry about what you will eat, wear, where you will lay your head. Please have faith that God can take care of us even if the world is trying to come against us with high prices.
Father I pray that you will protect us and will teach us how to manage our finances in these times. We thank you for taking care of us and keeping us close. Be with us Father and never leave us. In Jesus name, Amen.
