I have seen so many things in my life here on earth. I have been all over the east coast and midwest. I have met so many different types of people, different beliefs, different ethnic backgrounds. It amazes me how different God made each of us but with the same purpose. Now i like many have had my wild times, have partied and laid drunk all weekend, I have been to strip clubs, partied in clubs, done it all. I never like going back into my past because that is not the person I am now. However people that don't know God and have questions can relate to my past, it shows them I am a real person and not a pretend "holy roller". Living for Jesus is my life, I no longer look for the things of this world. I have had near death experiences being drunk in a car, running around with people at early hours in the morning and ending up in the wrong place, close to being shot. At that time it was wild and exciting but as we get older, it could have cost me my life. I am so glad that God did not give up on me. My life at this very moment is more peaceful and full of joy than it ever had been. I know this is the place I am to be.
The sad part about it is, is that we all run the race and make mistakes before we come to this conclusion. Living for God is not an act, it is not some thing we do to make us look holy and above everyone. I am more humble right now than i ever have been. This is simply the grace of God upon my life. I have given Him my everything and He has given me rest.
I don't care what wrong doings you are doing right now in your life. God wants you right now where you are, right in the midst of the sins. We all have sinned, not one person is excluded from this.
I know that God had His angels watching over me in my life to keep me alive due to my stupid mistakes. I am so glad He loves all of us today and I pray that you will thank Him for protecting you even if you don't recognize Him.
