April 27 2008 Word

Life is so fast paced most of the time and I have often mentioned how that the devil uses this lie to tell us we don't have time to go to church or we don't have time to go to the nursing homes or the hospitals. We need to pray that God will give us heavenly time management. That the things we are doing that are not of any worth to His kingdom that He reveal those things to us and then allow us to get rid of those time consuming things that have no benefit to Him.
We need to change our mind set on life. We need to start thinking in a way that is pleasing unto God.
We need to make sure that what we do throughout the day is for God and not just a task for the world.
This word is sos strong on my heart because I know there are things in all of our lives that we can get rid of that will free up time to do more for God.
I pray that you will seek God and have him reveal those things to you.
Everyone please go to the church of your choice today and go give God praise and worship that He deserves.

One of the most valuable things God has given to us is our time. I believe that is why the enemy fights us so hard in how we "spend" our time everyday. Time is something we cannot do over, but the Lord showed me several years ago, that through Jesus, our time can be redeemed, Eph. 5:16; Col. 4:5. We do have to get to a place in Him where we are asking Him to lead us and order our days in Him, but those things that are not within our control that happen that steals or takes our time, He can redeem it. When I went back to school several years ago and had a family and church with lots of responsibilities, the Lord began to teach me about asking Him to "make the most of my time." When I would realize I had wasted time, I would repent and because of His "amazing grace," He will even restore and redeem time that we waste. The bottom line as believers is, we need to ask the Lord what we are to be doing each day and help us in planning and even then, give room to "change" our plans if the need arises. Scripture tells us to "make the most of our time and all the more as we see 'the day' approaching..." I believe we are in "that day" and have entered the very end of the end-times. We each have a God ordained destiny and His heart is for us to fulfill that. We must come into agreement with Him and yield our will to His and then when we do that, He can restore and redeem anything in our lives through the precious blood of Jesus and His redemptive work on the cross. He will teach us and lead us, but we have to make the choices to position our hearts before Him and be where we are to be, when we are to be there. It's a battle, but we can overcome through Him. We are all a work in progress and He just loves it when we have a "yes" in our hearts to do His will. Success with the Lord is not that we do everything exactly right, but that we have the desire to obey and He meets us where we are. When we've done all we can do, then He does the rest! PTL!
