April 25 2008 Word
To give everyone a history of how this site was generated, I had been asking God for a way for me to stay faithful and to stay constantly in His word and to help others. Well this site has been published for almost 10 days and the traffic to it has been incredible. I wake up and cannot wait to greet you every morning with a word that I hope and pray is encouraging or eye opening. This site was first and foremost a tool for me to stay in the will of our Father and now it is a tool to bless many. I pray that each of you reading this will pray for this ministry and ask God to progress it and get it out to those that do not know Jesus or know Jesus but have fallen away.
We all have a ministry and I want us all to pray that God will reveal the area of ministry He wants us each in.
As we look at the world and see the destruction, the prices, the visual of a recession, I want us all to trust God. Trust Him to take care of His people. It would not matter if we went into a depression in this country, God would provide for His people, He always has. As you have a need, simply ask God to fulfill that need. His word says that if we ask he will give.
I want to also remind you that the enemy is lying to this world. He is trying to show the world that they do not need God and he is taking people by the multitudes to hell. I want us all to have such a groaning for the lost. I imagine the day of judgment and those that we have missed to witness to being thrown into that fire pit full of torment. We have got to save the lost. They have no idea what will happen to them if this were the last day on this earth. They will be on fire for eternity, tortured, no rest forever. The very thought of that place run chills over my body. I then think of HEAVEN, how peaceful, how majestic, how wonderful it will be to be in the mighty presence of the King, to sing praises to God, to walk on streets of gold, to walk through those pearly gates. It makes me want to go now to see God. We must tell people about Jesus. He is the only way to Heaven and the only way to get mercy at the judgment seat of the Father. Please pray for the lost, please talk to those that you know are lost. We have to be ready to share Jesus with everyone.
I heard a young adult say lately that Jesus is just not "cool" today. I am 30 years old and no that is not old, I have done all the worldly things that the world says is "cool" and it only seems fun for a little while and then you wake up one morning asking yourself, there has to be more than this.
Jesus very well may be the "coolest" thing going because if you do not trust Jesus and make him your lord and savior, on judgment the outcome may be hell and it is not "cool" at all.

As I was praying this morning, the Lord began to bring to mind ways He has taught me to pray the Word to bring in the lost. Every person who is born again is birthed into the Kingdom of God through prayer. The Lord spoke to me to call forth those that are lost, but it is warfare. In II Corinthians 10:3-5, we are instructed to release God's power to tear down the destructive fortresses the enemy has erected in the minds of unbelievers and then speak for their thoughts to be captured by the Lord to the obedience of Jesus. There is a veil over the eyes of the lost and that veil has to be removed that they can "see" the need of a Savior. As we pray and call the lost into the Kingdom, the Holy Spirit moves on their hearts and brings conviction unto repentance and salvation. The Lord had me first praying this scripture over myself. This passage was written to the church at Corinth, to believers. We can have veils over our eyes that keep us from seeing and receiving the truth in the Word, even though we are reading it daily. I ask the Lord all the time to destroy every false belief system in my mind and captivate my thoughts to come into obedience to Jesus. I have also prayed for the compassion of Jesus for the lost. We are not all gifted in the same way, but we are all called to use the gifts He has given us in such a way to be a testimony that will cause others to want what we have in Jesus. I was reading Matthew 5:43-48 this morning, part of Jesus' Sermon on the Mount. This is the lifestyle Jesus taught that we are all called to live and especially in the times in which we now live. The enemy is at work to cast fear into all of us, but as believers, we do not have to be afraid. The Lord tells me over and over, that He will not be outdone by the enemy. He is greater and bigger than any problem we face and any scheme the enemy may try to bring against us! Father, today we ask that you would work in our lives, remove anything in our hearts that does not belong there, shine your light of truth in our hearts. Let us be your light in a dark world and lift up the name of Jesus that He may draw all men unto Himself. We call forth the lost to come into your Kingdom and receive wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of who you are! We bless and praise your name today! In Jesus' name!
